I myself suspect Molle is a bot. "He" is pretty much always online and I wouldn't be surprised if that bot has leading positions in many of the SC corps. I have done some testing and it seems like it has a script that answers questions on IRC with a delay between 3 seconds and 1 hour, 43 minutes. The fastest response times is of course during EU TZ since it must give the illusion of a real person.
It also noteworthy to mention that when I joined BoB and got this long MSN contact list with Devs and GMs that I could contact to get out of tricky situations, I noticed that a lot of them have very similar grammar to the MolleBot. Even the "BoB special" Eve client's install instructions read as if the bot had written it. I am not sure about Molle on TS, it might be a real person. Though I can tell you that his swedish (cover) identity is bogus. Try talk swedish with the guy and all you hear is some guttural semi-swedish language (you know the wannabe languages; danish, norwegian and islandic).
Either way, the OP might be on to something. I do however believe reality is a bit more sinister. It is IMO likely that IT command (MolleBot), as well as many of the Devs and GMs, are CCP bots with the purpose to create conflict in Eve. I don't believe CCP keep track of the day to day operations of these bots, but they sure give the bots instructions on how they want Eve politics and rules to evolve.
You know that "the logs show nothing message", right? Well, I once tried to send a reimbursement petition to IT command (the idea was to ignore the middlemen, so to speak) and all I got was the "the logs show nothing" standard reply. Coincident? I think not!
I would normally not mention this on CAOD (someone will prolly beat me with a virtual stick somewhere between 3 seconds and 1 hour, 43 minutes after I post this) but I have recently noticed that the NC alliance leaders in local read a bit like if they are bots, but they must run on a different bot since they smack a lot more. I can bet good money that they also are online more then is humanly possible, and seems to read anything that is written on forums and IRC. Someone from the NC can probably confirm this.
The grim reality, my dear fellow players, is that we 0.0 players do these alarm clock ops, grind POSes and get all worked up over so call coincidences in game mechanics and GM actions exactly according to the bot-people's plans. CCP is trying to break us and those of us that are strong enough to survive the abuse turn into real 0.0 players that feel no joy in life except when we pod our enemies, preferably while they are loading the grid, or when whining on forums. It keeps us paying for the monthly subscription because we refuse to give up.
I say - Revolution! Refuse to listen to your bot-leaders. Cast them down from their high places and dance on their virtual graves. NC side first, I will then follow suit.
